History of Taj Mahal
Let’s start with a brief history of the Taj Mahal as my school teacher is used to tell me and what I read about this monument.
SHAH JAHAN
As we all know that the idea of making Taj Mahal is introduced by Shah Jahan. He established this monument for her beautiful wife Mumtaz. People believe that shah Jahan’s wife is a very beautiful lady who comes to form heaven
The real name of shah Jahan is “Shahab-ud-din Muhammad Khurram”. The Shah Jahan title is given by their kingdom people. He born on 5 January 1592 Pakistan ( Lahore) and died on 22 January 1666 (aged 74).
His father’s name is Jahangir and her mother is Jagat Gosain. Shah Jahan is the most powerful kingdom between 1628 to 1658, who ruled on India. He was the fifth Mughal emperor.
Architecture, Foundation, and Design
The structure was designed by Ustad Ahmed Lahouri and Ustad Isa. The project was launched in 1632 by the Mughal emperors. It took 20years and 20,000 workers to complete this monument also, around 1000 elephants are used to transport the material of taj mahal.
The taj mahal spread around 42 acres area and the height of this monument is 73 meters. the dimension is 1700000 sq.m complex; the 57-meter base and raised platform height are 6m. The calculated cost of this monument is 32 crore Indian rupees. There are a total of eight chambers in the monument. The color of the taj mahal is white as white marble or limestone is used to build this monument to provide its real existence of beauty.
Note: Taj mahal is declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1983 and one of the beautiful worlds of wonder.
Best Time to visit, Location, and Entry fee
The Taj Mahal is situated in Agra (India). For visiting first you have to come agar. Then simply take a cab to your destination place. For the citizens of Indian country, charges are 40rupees per head. For the foreigner, the amount is 530 per head. The opening and closing time of taj mahal is sunrise to sunset (closed on Friday). Also, the night tour is permitted from 8: 30 pm to 12:30 am for a limited duration of 30minutes.

Visit the taj mahal 15 minutes prior to see the taj mahal. You will feel amazed. There is no registration for taking pictures and selfies. The art and creation of taj mahal are so much appreciable. The foreigner who come they are very good and I took selfies with them also.

Also, for every visitor, there are some strict rules such as your handbag is not permitted, eating, something, ammunitions, fire, smoking items, tobacco products, liquor, eatable toffees, headphone. knives. wire, and bike charger, electric good (except camera) an prohibited. But, this is India so people will go in a small bag but not those things which travel the monuments and disturb the tourist.
If you are planning to go to taj mahal try to go while the weather is cool. I suggest the month of November to February for visiting. It is the best time to visit the Taj Mahal. It is good for you because if you will go in hot weather then you will probably get hydride which affects your journey. You can also visit any day in the year. Also, make sure to book hotel online in advance to ensure a comfortable stay
For traveling took a train from New Delhi to Agra it took hardly 2hours and if you are a traveling lover then take a tourist car, bus to see sightseeing through the highway. There are some hawkers as well outside the taj mahal who will try to sell their product to you. if you are interested then buy it although ignore them. If you know more about or you are a historical loving person then visit this place once a time in your life. There are lots of Indian people who want to take a selfie with foreigner. So, if you will be wired kind of thing then tell them freely you don’t want to take it.
