Best Things To Do Santorini Tour:

Akrotiri:

Akrotiri is an area full of archeological specimens. Its location along the shores of Caldera on the south side of the island. It was first discovered in the late 1960s. Its buildings are believed to have been built around the 16th century BC. Although much of the eruption has been destroyed, it has been excavated year after year and the area is now open to visitors. The houses here have all the ancient fresco designs and pottery.

Red Beach:

It is one of the unique beaches in the world, aptly named for the unique color of its sand. To the amazement of many visitors, the beaches of Santorini are not shaken with tropical palms or burnt with powdered, golden sand. This volcanic island has given birth to a splendid landscape of uniquely curled landscapes and Red Beach is one of them. It is named after its rusty reddish tones of sand and the dramatic amber cliffs immersed in it.

The island has black and gray sand beaches on the east coast, including Parisa, Perivlos, and Kamari. Displays amazing things that all nature can do.

Perissa Black Sand Beach:

Most of the Santorini is located on the shores of the volcano and wherever you go, you will be reminded of the history of volcanic activity on the island, especially Perisa Black Sand Beach. As the name implies, the sand is dark and mysterious, while the sea is beautifully clear and blue.
This palette of contrasting colors creates the opportunity for ideal gazing or photography. However, experts recommend renting a lounge chair because the heat of the dark sand absorbs heat from the European sun and can make it difficult to walk or lie down.

Three Bells of Fira:

Three Bells of Fira is known as the Greek Catholic church on the island of Santorini. The church is the most tourist attraction for its three bells, blue dome, and picturesque views. It is located in Fira town. Its view attracts the traveler to visit Santorini.

Kamari beach:

Kamari Beach is located 10 kilometers southeast of the island’s capital, probably the cleanest in Santorini-marked with a European blue flag for its garment area. The beach is covered with volcanic black sand mixed with small wrists. The beach has sun and splash, and beach volleyball, mini football, badminton and diving club playgrounds for active travelers.

Monolithos Beach:

Monolithos is located in Kamari near the seaport, 7 km from the area near the airport. It is a quiet beach but still has many good hotels, restaurants, and cafes. The beach has a sun lounger, a playground, a football field, trees at the end of the beach where you can relax.

Santorini Orthodox Metropolitan Church, Cyclades:

This church sits prominently at the bottom of the town of Fira you can see many parts of Santorini from a distance. The church was built in 1827 and offers an impressive view of the volcanoes of Caldera and Santorini. In 1956, the building was damaged by a devastating earthquake but was soon renovated.

It is a beautiful cathedral with a great mosaic on the outside and an impressive bell tower. Rolling arches create a peaceful backyard. The interior of the church is decorated with beautiful frescoes made by local artist Christopherus Osimis.

Santorini Caldera:

Santorini caldera is located in the southern Aegean Sea. It is 120 kilometers north of Crete in Greece.

Museum of Prehistoric Thera:

The Museum of Prehistoric Thera is one of the most important museums in Greece because it belongs to one of the largest regional civilizations in the prehistoric world. The excavations at Akrotiri are conducted in that museum, which is considered to be the exotic site of Akrotiri’s archeological site.

Excavations in the Akrori region illuminated a vast center of the ancient world that blossomed in the Aegean Sea 3600 BC in the 17 century BC. The ancient city was buried beneath the pumice of a volcano that erupted as a result of a volcano in Santorini. However, the pumice was a means of preserving a great portion of items such as ships and wall paintings that survived to the present day in very good condition, even witnessing the majesty of the buried city.
